Mario Reyna, P.E.

President

Mario Reyna has 5 years of experience in the field of civil engineering. He has completed a wide range of projects for both public agencies and private developers. He has participated in a variety of development types, including mixed-use developments; healthcare facilities; municipal utilities; schools and universities; shopping centers; offices; industrial facilities; residential and multi-family developments; and state and local governmental agencies.

 

He has extensive experience in site civil design, including building, facility, and utility layout; site grading and earthwork; and design of paving, drainage, and utility improvements. Other areas of expertise include hydraulic and hydrologic analysis for open and closed storm drainage systems and floodplain reclamation studies; water distribution and wastewater collection systems.

Mario Reyna’s engineering experience has been with the City of Mission where he was part of a design team preparing plans and specifications for the expansion of Mission’s North Water Treatment Plant and McAllen Public Utilities Boeye Reservoir Relocation Project. In addition to Mission and McAllen, Mario Reyna was part of a second design team that prepared plans and specifications for the construction of the new Cimemark Theater, Main Event Center, Lubys, Clark Knapp Honda within the City of Pharr, Texas. Currently, Mario Reyna is finalizing construction plans and specifications for La Joya ISD and Laredo ISD. These projects include site development project for a new FEMA Shelter Dome within the La Joya ISD property and infrastructure utilities for portable buildings at the Pecan Campus.

As mentioned, Mario Reyna oversaw the construction of McAllen’s 300 Million Gallon Raw Water Reservoir funded by the TWDB. The reservoir project is 100-percent complete and Mario Reyna was instrumental in reviewing submittals, replying to contractor’s modification requests, responding to contractor’s requests for information, and approving pay requests. In addition to the reservoir, he is oversaw the construction of a 60-inch raw water line for McAllen Public Utilities. Other inspection projects include the City of Taft Wastewater Treatment Plant Rehabilitation Project, Edinburg CISD paving improvements, and STC Mid Valley Campus parking lot improvements.

As an engineer and inspector, Mario Reyna has always responded to the needs of every client and has function as an extension of their staff to exceed their performance objectives and respond to their needs on short notices.
