Texas Department of Public Safety Southern Sector Headquarters
Melden and Hunt, Inc. provided civil engineering services and prepared construction documents for the new Texas Department of Public Safety Southern Sector Headquarters located in Weslaco, Texas. Work included a site plan, a utility plan, drainage plan, paving plan and survey construction staking. The facility is schedule to open this year.
City of Edinburg Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion Project
Melden and Hunt, Inc. facilitated a pre-construction conference for the City of Edinburg wastewater treatment plant expansion project. The City of Edinburg Utilities Department, RP Constructors and Melden and Hunt, Inc. will commence with construction phase services. Melden and Hunt, Inc. will be responsible for construction inspection and administration services.
Idea Public Schools
Melden and Hunt, Inc. was engaged to provide civil engineering and land surveying services for two new Idea Public Schools in Weslaco and San Juan, Texas. Tentatively these two schools are schedule to open in the fall of 2011.
City of Taft Wastewater Improvement Project
Melden and Hunt, Inc. is currently in the design stage for the City of Taft's wastewater improvement project. The construction documents include rehabilitation to the City's wastewater treatment plant and collection system. Bid phase services will commence within the next 6-months.
McAllen Public Utility Boeye Reservoir Project
Melden and Hunt, Inc. continues to oversee the construction of the new 300 MG McAllen Public Utility Boeye Reservoir Project. As of today, the reservoir is complete, and the conveyance system and structures project is what remains of the overall project. Construction is to be finalized in early fall of 2011.
Bass Pro Shops
Melden and Hunt. Inc. was engaged by MF Site Construction Company to provide construction survey staking for water and sewer utilities and parking lot improvements for the new Bass Pro Shops in Harlingen, Texas.
